Stanley X.L. Diao founded CAI (Canada–Asia Council for AI & Digital Innovation), a cross-border AI venture platform advancing AI governance, venture creation, and global technology collaboration. He leads strategic partnerships at the Cyberport × Draper Dragon Joint Accelerator, building pathways between startups, investors, and innovation ecosystems across Canada, Silicon Valley, and Asia.
Since 2017, he has worked across the Draper Dragon and DFJ ecosystem — building venture programs, ecosystem partnerships, and commercialization pathways across AI, deep technology, Web3, and digital infrastructure.
His ecosystem work spans Silicon Valley innovation delegations, Harvard alumni innovation programs, the Hong Kong RWA executive delegation, CAI × Harvard Frontier Technology Club AI forums, and AI × bio innovation corridors in Shenzhen and Suzhou. He serves as a board member of the Shanghai Jiao Tong University Vancouver Alumni Association.
Earlier in his career, he worked in Big Four deal advisory at KPMG and PwC and in strategy consulting at BCG/Monitor, supporting cross-border transactions exceeding US$1.8 billion in aggregate value.
Stanley completed the Ignite program at Stanford Graduate School of Business, executive education at Harvard Kennedy School, and AI training at the Vector Institute. He holds a Master's degree in Philosophy, Politics & Economics from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, with an engineering background in materials science and engineering.

Jie Shen is a healthcare and life sciences ecosystem builder focused on supporting AI-enabled biotechnology companies, emerging healthcare ventures, and global innovation platforms. As Co-Founder of CAI Bio Venture Studio, she leads life sciences venture building initiatives at the intersection of AI, biotechnology, and translational healthcare.
Jie has advised founders, investors, and CEOs of multinational corporations and high-growth companies on leadership strategy, organizational scaling, and global expansion. Through her work as a Senior Partner at a global executive research firm, where she co-leads Healthcare, Life Sciences, and Technology practices, she has helped build leadership teams for innovative companies across multiple markets, including AI-driven drug discovery and biotech platforms.
Before entering executive advisory, Jie worked as a research scientist, developing expertise in microbiology and pharmaceutical sciences. She holds a Master of Science degree in Microbiology and Pharmaceutical Science from the China State Institute of Pharmaceutical Industry, an MBA from the University of Illinois, and completed the Organizational Leadership and Entrepreneurship Certificate at Harvard Business School.
Her work spans the intersection of scientific innovation, capital deployment, and leadership development for the next generation of healthcare companies.

Peilin Jia is a partner at ORH Partners, a Silicon Valley and Shanghai-based VC fund. Her career spans notable roles at McKinsey, Jones Day, and Macquarie Capital, where she contributed to the Hong Kong IPOs of China Merchants Bank, Minsheng Bank, Agricultural Bank of China, and Huaneng Renewables. She also served as a partner at a large fund of funds in China, focusing on venture capital investments and fundraising.
